Please make plans to attend the SDAC/SDCMA annual meeting and joint convention, September 13-14 at the Pierre Ramkota.

We are finalizing the program for the meeting, with a variety of topics important to cooperatives and their producer members.  Topics include an update on recent transportation issues, Capper-Volstead Compliance, the state's Animal Health lab, and agriculture's financial future, among others.

In addition, the Co-op Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremony will be held the evening of September 13 in Pierre.

A registration packet will be mailed soon with more information.

We hope to see you in September!

WELCOME TO THE SOUTH DAKOTA ASSOCIATION OF COOPERATIVES

The South Dakota Association of Cooperatives is a statewide organization that works on behalf of all types of cooperatives - farm supply and marketing, electric, and communications.  Economic studies indicate that the 160 marketing, energy, communication, banking, and processing cooperatives in South Dakota contribute $7-$10 billion in annual output to the state's economy.

SDAC provides effective representation on government affairs issues that affect our members.  We focus on legislative, administrative, and regulatory issues at the state and national levels.  We serve as a link among cooperatives, state agencies, legislators, congressional staff, farm organizations, commodity groups, and non-agricultural organizations.  We also provide educational and leadership training opportunities for cooperative staff and board members.
